Drug rehab treatment for the sixth time? That’s the story for actress Lindsay Lohan. On Wednesday, actress Lindsey Lohan turned herself in as part of a plea deal. Lohan pled no contest to misdemeanor reckless driving and providing false information to the police, part of her plea deal is to attend a lock down rehab facility. The actress has previously attended drug rehab treatment five times, but never before at a lock down facility.
A lock down drug rehab facility is just what it sounds- no access under any circumstances to places beyond the facility. Lohan will not earn privileges such as day passes or nights off from the treatment center. In fact, California Superior Court Judge James Danbey told the actress if she did leave the facility it would be considered a violation of her sentence. Previous drug rehab stays allowed her to leave the program for filming and meetings.
Celebrity drug rehab treatment is usually kept strictly private so it is unknown where Lohan will go for lock down treatment. Lohan’s sentence includes 90 days in treatment, 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychological treatment in addition to a fine and restitution. The deal also extends her probation by two years for a 2011 theft charge.
