About Us
Our treatment philosophy centers on a profound commitment: to address both the symptoms of addiction and mental illness and the underlying causes that drive them.
The Philosophy
We draw on a full toolkit of proven therapeutic approaches, understanding that true recovery requires addressing the brain, the body, and the environment.
Most centers focus primarily on one condition while “managing” the other. Our psychiatrists and psychologists work closely with addiction specialists to treat both conditions simultaneously.
Men and women face different challenges, traumas, and barriers. Our gender-separated housing and programming allow clients to process difficult emotions in genuinely safe environments.
We recognize that trauma is almost always a component of addiction and mental health disorders. Our entire clinical model utilizes a trauma-informed approach to support healing safely and effectively.
Our registered dietitians provide personalized meal planning to restore physical health. We also assist in managing secondary eating disorder symptoms under clinical guidance (excluding ARFID).
Our psychiatric team specializes in diagnostic accuracy and medication stabilization for complex psychotic disorders like schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, using the least amount of medication necessary to stabilize mood and promote cognitive clarity.
Before discharge, we develop plans that identify triggers and high-risk situations, transitioning seamlessly into our aftercare and alumni programs.
What makes our approach distinctive is how clinical therapy, medication management, and family involvement work together as an integrated whole.
Your individual therapist coordinates with your psychiatrist; your nutrition plan supports your energy for group therapy; your yoga practice teaches you mindfulness skills you’ll use in trauma work.
Helps identify and change destructive thought patterns and beliefs.
Builds distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills for managing severe anxiety.
Art, music, yoga, and meditation develop self-awareness and provide non-verbal outlets for processing complex emotions.
Individual therapy allows deep exploration of trauma, while group therapy provides connection, accountability, and peer mirroring.
