Admissions
The cost of treatment should never stand between you and recovery. We accept TRICARE and most private insurance plans, and offer multiple payment options to make treatment accessible.
Navigating Coverage
We provide a clear breakdown of what your insurance will cover and what out-of-pocket costs, if any, you may incur. We believe in complete transparency.
We are a certified Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (MHPHP) with TRICARE, offering all levels of care for substance use disorders. For commercial plans, we accept out-of-network PPO benefits from major carriers including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, and others.
For individuals without insurance or those who prefer to pay out-of-pocket, Destination Hope offers affordable self-pay rates. We can discuss payment plans and financing options.
Federal law requires that insurance companies treat mental health and addiction treatment benefits the same as other medical benefits. This means insurance companies cannot place stricter limits on mental health coverage than they do on medical coverage. They cannot require higher co-payments for mental health services, limit the number of mental health visits more strictly, or deny coverage for addiction treatment when similar conditions would be covered under medical benefits.
This law has been a game-changer for individuals seeking treatment, as it ensures that insurance companies cannot unfairly restrict coverage for the mental health and addiction services you need.
If you want to verify your coverage directly with your insurance company, we recommend asking these key questions:
Having this information before contacting Destination Hope can speed up the verification process and help you make a more informed decision about treatment.
Beyond insurance and payment options, Destination Hope offers full case management to address financial barriers to recovery. Our case managers can help you access benefits you may not have known were available to you, such as food assistance, housing support, employment programs, and other resources. We also accept select state-funded programs based on current facility availability.
Destination Hope offers multiple levels of care, and different insurance plans may cover different treatment options. Our levels of care include medical detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and aftercare support. During the insurance verification process, we will help you understand which options are covered under your plan and which level of care is most appropriate for your needs.
Recovery should not be a luxury available only to those with extensive financial resources. Your insurance coverage, combined with our case management support and financial assistance programs, means you have options. Do not let financial concerns keep you from getting the help you need.
We accept TRICARE and most private insurance plans. Send us your insurance details and we’ll provide a benefits summary and an out-of-pocket estimate, usually within an hour.
All information submitted is strictly confidential and protected by HIPAA regulations. Our financial counselors will decode your policy and contact you with a clear plan.
