Monthly Family Program at Destination Hope
Destination Hope kicked off our Monthly Family Program weekend on July 11-12, 2021. It was an amazing weekend of healing and connection for our families and clients. At Destination Hope we believe in rebuilding bridges as addiction and unaddressed mental health issues wreak havoc within the family system.

Our Most Recent Family Program Weekend Events
Our family weekend creates the space for families and their loved ones to begin rebuilding the bridges of communication, connection, and respect. The program is hosted every second Sunday and Monday of each month by our licensed marriage and family therapist. Families are educated on the neuroscience of addiction by our in-house board certified addictionologist and engage in a series of interactive programs designed to increase engagement among family members. Our families consistently used uplifting words such as healing, informative, enlightening, closer and supportive after participating in this first weekend.
If your family member is undergoing treatment, you can attend our family program. You will then consult with your loved one’s primary therapist about your role. You must be over the age of 18 to attend.
The main goal of our family program is to allow families to come together in a constructive space to build trust and become more informed – both about addiction / mental health and each other. The conversation at our family weekend is integral to the healing process.
